For over a decade, the Island Time Music Festival, along with the Island Time Fishing Tournament, have been the island’s hotspot for anyone who loves music, fishing, or just plain having a great time under our endless sunny skies.
Held each February, this four-day fiesta serves up world-class performances by some of Nashville’s finest talents at some of Isla’s most vibrant hot spots. And it’s not just about catching the rhythms of soul-stirring songs, it’s about mingling, sharing a laugh and a cold one with artists whose lyrics resonate with the stories of our lives.
But here’s the heart of the festival: it’s a celebration with a cause. Every note played, every song sung, and every fish caught during the week contributes to the support for the special needs children of Isla Mujeres. Proceeds from the festival activities, along with an online auction, go directly to funding the island’s Little Yellow School House, making a huge difference in the lives of local children.
Mark your calendar for February 2025 so you miss out on the music, the magic, and the mission. After all, where else can you enjoy top-tier tunes and make a difference, all on island time?
Thanks to the generous hearts of performers and attendees over the years, the Little Yellow School House has grown from a single room and six students to a beacon of hope with six classrooms, dedicated teachers, and over 60 students, boasting a 70% success rate in reintegrating special needs children into regular schooling.
